The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency encompasses a 45 square mile area serving the communities of Flamingo Heights, Johnson Valley, and Landers Hi-Desert area of southern California. It has approximately 1900 metered services. The Agency also provides approximately 70 metered bulk water services via four separate water hauling stations. The bulk services are available to both commercial and residential individuals. The Agency operates 8 deep wells, ten above ground reservoirs and maintains about 635 fire hydrants and approximately 110 miles of water mainlines. The Agency is staffed by 4 field personnel, two customer service representatives, Board Secretary and General Manager. The Agency staff is governed by a 5 member Board of Directors elected by the registered voters living with in the Agency boundaries.
