The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency is located in southern California and encompasses 45-square miles serving the Hi-Desert area communities of Flamingo Heights, Johnson Valley, and Landers.
The Agency has approximately 1900 metered service accounts and provides approximately 70-metered bulk water services to both commercial and residential customers, via four separate water-hauling stations.
The Agency operates 8 deep wells and 10 aboveground reservoirs; maintains about 635 fire hydrants and approximately 110 miles of water mainlines.
The Agency is staffed by 4 field personnel, 2 customer service representatives, a Board Secretary and General Manager. The Agency staff is governed by a 5-member Board of Directors elected by the registered voters living within the Agency boundaries.
